Q. What are the startup costs and what do they include?

     A. Currently, the range of investment is from $650,085 to $1,257,957 which includes the $50,000 initial franchise

fee. Other estimated costs include 3rd party professional advisory fees, insurance and 3-months of working capital. Link to

Q. How much space do I need for the beer garden and event space?

    A. Between 3,000 and 5,000 square feet with adequate parking. We have specific site criteria which will help you

evaluate real estate that would be a good fit for your Social Play Haus location. Link to LEARN MORE

 

Q. How long does it take to open?

    A. You should be able to open in 9 to 12 months. It may be sooner if you find a space with a pre-built restaurant

kitchen or catering hall fit out in the right location. It also depends on how quickly you complete pre-opening and

Q. Do I have to be an owner operator?

    A. Yes, we want our owners to be actively involved. Even though you may hire a manager to oversee Back of

House operations, owners are the face of the community, “out and about” in the market. Link to LEARN MORE

 

Q. Can I own more than one beer hall and event space?

Q. Do I have to have a background in restaurant operations?

    A. No, we have a limited menu and believe most will hire a small Back of House team. Link to LEARN MORE

 

Q. Does the beer hall and event space have to be “on Main Street” or in a retail space?

     A. No, our locations are typically in light industrial leased spaces. With a large open dining and play areas, we want

Q. How many employees are needed to operate the business?

    A. Typically between 2 and 3 employees per shift depending on events or parties, day of the week and bookings

for drop in play in your beer hall and event space. You can utilize both part-time and full-time employees to build out

Q. How much will the business make in a year?

    A. We will be able to share our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19 in our Franchise

Disclosure Document which highlights affiliate performance and history. This can be a useful tool to help you evaluate the
